Shipping Information

If your class requires you to send your artwork to the Online Education department for grading, you will need to do the following:

  • Make sure your work arrives on time. Be sure you send the work early enough so there is enough time for shipping.
  • Protect your work and package it to prevent damage! For some tips and ideas on how to package your work see our tutorial about Packaging Artwork.
  • Address your package to your instructor and include your course number, like this:

Drop off your work in person to the Online Education department at the address below between 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday to the address below. Don't forget to include your name, instructor's name, course number, telephone number, and email address. Do not drop off your work at any other location.

  • Unless it is specified in the class that your work will not be returned, take one of the steps below to have your work returned to you or indicate that you would prefer to have it discarded after grading.

Having Artwork Returned to You

Simply follow one of the many options below to have your work returned to you. Please note, if the class specifies that your work will not be returned, do not include return postage.

1. Attach a prepaid shipping label with tracking number. Be sure to tape it visibly within the portfolio or project. If you are shipping FedEx, please include either your account number or a prepaid label. Please note that we are unable to return your work via FedEx Ground, so if you are using your account please enclose a FedEx Express shipping form. We also cannot accept a FedEx shipping form with only your credit card number.

2. Attach USPS postage stamps to your project or a self-addressed envelope. This is the recommended method for PO boxes and APO/IPO/FPO addresses. If shipping to an APO/IPO/FPO address, please make sure to include USPS Priority postage.

3. Print, complete, and attach shipping form (Shipping_Form.pdf) with your portfolio or project.  It will be sent UPS Ground to regular and domestic addresses or UPS Worldwide Saver (if available) to international addresses, so you will need to include a street address. We are unable to ship to PO boxes and APO/IPO addresses via this method.

4. Call the Online Help Desk at (888) 431-2787 with your shipping and billing information. We are unable to ship to PO boxes and APO/IPO addresses via this method.

5. Pick up your work in person from the Online Education department between 9:00AM to 5:00AM, Monday through Friday at the address below. You will need to have a form of ID in order to pick up your work. If someone will be picking up your work on your behalf, prior arrangements will need to be made by calling our Online Help Desk at (888) 431-2787. You will be notified when your work has been graded and is ready to be picked up.
