Your profile has two tabs. The first, "Account", contains your contact information. Use it to verify that your contact information is correct or to update your current email address. This information is private. You can also find your student advisor's name, email address and phone number.
The second tab is "Public Profile". This is the information you want to share with your fellow students, faculty and staff at the Academy of Art University. It is divided into two sections: "General Information" and "Skills". The information in this tab will be used in the Student Project Collaboration tool.
Use "General Information" to edit your profile picture, provide an optional public email, location and website. You can also add a collection from your Portfolio to highlight the skills you want to share.
Edit Your Skills
In the "Skills" section, check off all the skills you have that you would like to share in collaborative projects working with other Academy students.
Add your Biography
Add a brief Biography to tell your faculty and classmates a little bit about yourself. You could include information like your area of study at the Academy, where you are from, special interests, and other information you would like to share.
You can also upload a Resume saved as a PDF.
The Search section has a check box to opt in and give permission to share your public information with students and faculty in the Student Project Collaboration tool.
You can always return, uncheck and opt out if you no longer want to participate in the talent search.
